What? Go around and be late?

Just kidding of course. To me its situational. At mins with a runway in sight I'd land. No need to slugg around on 1 engine to get back in that same position.

What does the gauge say? What type of aircraft? What type of approach? Is any of the runway environment in sight?

If I have the runway environment in sight and the engine is still producing power, I can't think of a single reason to do anything BUT continue and land normally. Depending on a lot of different factors (some I asked above), I might consider bringing the thrust lever to idle, but only so that if the engine does decide to pack it in, it won't take me by surprise.

If an engine is going to fail, it's likely to happen at a power change, so I certainly wouldn't go setting MCT on both if I chose to go missed for whatever reason (no runway in sight, for example). I'd leave the suspect one right where it is and set max thrust on the good one. Once safely away from the ground, then worry about the checklist items. Just like an engine fire, there's no need to go rushing into memory items if it's still producing thrust.

Again, there are too many factors and unknowns in your question for me personally to be comfortable giving a definitive answer/opinion on this. I also fly the bizjet with arguably the best overall single engine climb performance of them all, so that is what I'm basing my answer on. Piston twin or underpowered turboprop would likely be a whole other story.
 
Land and be done with it. I can't think of many good reasons to stay airborne any longer than you need to and don't get overly distracted by the light. Minimal throttle movement and remaining stable on the approach are important.

But consider that I think the Beagle pilots that did a touch and go with their gear up thought the same thing; we've got three green, but a weird EICAS message, but if we've got three green the gear HAS to be down. We're almost on the ground, so let's just go ahead and land, and then figure this out on the ground.

So while I agree, land in this situation, the above situation with Beagle show that Marshall is incredibly correct; there are a lot of factors going into this decision, and it's not just a simple "Well no crap I'd land!" or "Well no crap I'd go around!" type of issue.

Under most circumtanceses if I'm on short final of a stabilized approach my missed approach instructions will be "left turn, taxi to ramp".
 
If you're on short final, you'll be in the air for what, 10 seconds? I say land, turn onto the highspeed, stop, and run the checklist. No reason to shut down an engine at 100ft.

Actually, there was a 9Ker who had a fuel pump issue (pump running on high when he selected low), and elected to go around on short final with a rough engine. He ended up getting a nice tongue lashing from a check airman or two, and no longer works there because of his decision making skills on the line.

If the motor continues to run and you are holding rpm you didn't really loose oil pressure anyway or it would be in feather. It was just an instrument malfunction.

Edit: Didn't read your whole statement and your presumption. The a/c is a Falcon 20.
 
If the runways in sight, land. If it's a Falcon20, you have enough power to do a SE missed (not a go around at this point, runways not in sight) if it's not in sight. Hopefully your alternate is not to far away, but having a two person crew certainly helps.

I think the worst thing you could do is act hastily at this point. No need to start opening QRHs or flipping switches and shutting down an engine. The engine is running, you're lined up on short final, fly the plane to the runway. Taxi off the runway, get to a taxiway, set the parking brake and run the QRH, shut down, call MX etc...

Below 500', fly the plane.
