New Delta Advanced Entitlement

Hmm, senior international FO, commuing to a line flying all over the world, or, junior DC-9 CA, commuting to reserve in MSP or DET.:dunno:

Come on now....The nicest part of the year in Minny is coming.....The plows at Minny are some of the best in the country.... :D

Hey! I'm gonna be based there starting in January...

Luckily as an old ORD guy the snow doesn't bother me...

Hey DAY is not a bad city.. You have single A ball to go watch, and Great Lakes Beer. On the other hand a international city has great food/beer/eye candy. Tough decision....

757/767 International/soon to be domestic also catagory

Yeup. I don't think any base has a pure 7ER category any more.

I have 61 (sixxxxxty one!!) "avoid if landings in..." preferences in PBS.

Is your "aviod" a hard parameter, say it won't give you that bid group in order to honor that, or is it a "i'll try my best" to do that?

Pops likes the ability to do a turn in the daylight every once in a while. Two man to the UK 5+ times a month will kill a man before too long.

It'll try it's best until you tell it "forget and redo" a particular negative preference or it goes into 'denial mode' and chooses one on it's own.

That Mostellar guy is our PBS guru, perhaps he can shed some light on that if he's not busy playing damage control from the September bid.

Pops is still wicked confused with the Carmen crap that CAL has, so my logic master skillz still tell him how to bid. Carmen is a hard parameter, and it will go to the next bid group (of which you are limited to 20) and run that. It then will run your last bid group, then do all the denial modes off of that.

He had "avoid landings CDG" when he didn't renew his french visa for a couple of years.....not that he'd be going there anyway. Its an act of god when a LHR pops up on the line with a third guy coming back. Far cry from the FO days of HNL, FCO, FRA, ZRH and MXP

I don't think France is requiring the Visa any more as I think they dropped that dumbass requirement. Not like anyone's ever seen it or asked for it.

But I'm going to lose bragging rights of being able to hold a job in Shengen states in a few more years when it expires.

yeah no longer required. He just didn't want to be 'that guy'.

you'd be amazed of the number of nasty-grams that he got as reminders to either get the visa or update the info with the CPO.

Hard to be picky when you bid at 80% in your seat.

True!

You know what's funny is that PEK is in our JFK bid package, but we're not required to have a (umm, REQUIRED!) Chinese Visa.

But it's a weird rotation like EWR-SVO-PEK-ANC.

Hooterville!

Unibase!

Optimus Prime!

I'd say Bubbaville but according to Whip, we're "42% Less Bubba"!
