Ok, if it makes you feel better. I apologize to the OP that we thought u were a jerk and wrong about Comair. It turns out we were only 50% right. Now that you've been proven right, I expect you to stay as classy as ever.

He was furloughed a while back... spent over a year on furlough before being faced with a tough recall decision. He ended up taking recall over a job offer up here and it doesn't look good. :(

Sorry C.J., this really sucks man. Maybe you'll get a chance at a carrier up here at YIP again...

Well first off I have been posting on APC for sometime now. However, I was banned for trying to warn what was coming to Comair due to my connections I had. I provided alot of good intell and even had people write me asking if I was for real. Some took my advice and started looking for employment with some success. others, like some of you on here, just laughed it off and started taking over the topic. Unlike some of you on here I got the message out trying to help as many of Comair pilots out as I could. I didn't go along with the popular chat about how good things were going to get and how Comair was going to grow. The people who did that are the ones who screwed over your fellow pilots. I also made statements wishing them the best. Am I happy about this? NO! But at least I was honest. Some called it flaimbait but the real flamebait was giving a good outcome. I still think Comair will not be around by the end of this year. once again start looking for an out now not later. For those at Comair wish nothing but the best. Good luck.

That's why I'm glad to be here. People can talk openly here. I have never name called or made fun of people. Just stuck to the topic. Passed along the information I got to try and help those that it affected. I'm the one telling people get off the tracts, warning that the train is coming. Oh well, can't help everyone.

I don't know, it might be the way that you're spreading the message, here. Not only that, but I don't think that anyone on here knows who you are or what connections you have within the company. I think that it's rather difficult to take someone seriously when nothing is known about that person. With no credibility, how can people possibly know that what you're saying is true? You, then, go on to mention how people can't handle this "truth."

This is probably not the best way to come onto a forum and start talking about people's companies (especially when there are people on the forum that work at those companies). You're dealing with people's livelihoods, ya know? With the way that you're going about it, it seems like you're verbally smacking these people in the face. Seems rather callous, if you ask me....
 
I think it's rather noble of him to take such an ulturistic concern in other peoples' careers that he feels the need to save them from their delusions.:rolleyes:

Nah. Also, I'd say that the words in bold have been brought up, oh, about 203,739 times in reference to this person, on this site. I think that the general consensus is that this guy is one classy fella. :)
 
Trailblazer shut the hell up already! When you have the balls to tell me your real name and who you work for then come talk to me.

As for Comair, there isn't much left to say. Back to the job search drawing board for me...
 
Best of luck to everyone at Comair. Hopefully some carriers who are hiring will take care of them. It's definitely not good to see jobs slashed, especially when considering it'll be half the fleet that's cut. In any event, sorry to see this kind of news.
 
I am trying to figure out where I fit in because I work for Comair. I was hired in 2002 so I think I am on the chopping block too. I would take a voluntary furlough if offered to save fellow employees.

We had alot more planes in 2002 I think, so if it is slashed in half I think that's bad for me too.

Not trying to add to negativity, just trying to figure out where I fall. My employee # is in the 194..... category.
