Hey guys anybody have any info on horizon Aviation. There is one in Norwood , MA and one in Rhode Island. Wondering if any body knew payscales for the CFI's there and if they're a busy flight school. thanks fellas !!

I've got an idea of what goes on in Norwood, they seem to be one of the busier flight schools in eastern mass. As far as pay scale, I'd have to do a little research

Hey man anything you can find would be great bro. I'm very interested in

looking for a cfi job up in mass and figuerd they would be a better school to

look into ..thanks man

You should give them a call, I doubt they're even hiring this time of year in New England

I'll probably give them a call this week. You think its because there slow or just weather ?? I know weather up north is a big factor.. later

We've actually had a really good summer up here for flying, however the winters are notoriously slow in New England as you can imagine. Most flight schools don't hire much later then this time of year, just my 2 cents

I have inquired at a few schools in MA earlier this month. Turns out more than one of them were hiring until a short while ago. I am new at looking for CFI jobs, and have been very shy about calling. But every time I have did call, I felt I did the right thing and no one on the other end felt bothered. You have nothing to loose and the potential to gain just what you are looking for. If nothing else ask if they'd keep your resume on file for future.

Last time I was up there (at the beginning of the year) I talked to the CP at Horizon at PVD who was really nice but said they weren't hiring. They also give preferential hiring to their own newly minted CFIs over more experienced ones that walk through the door making it even tougher to get a job there.

Good Luck.

Thanks guys I'll definately take a look at all of my options. Like yall said I got nothing to lose calling ...:rawk:
