Fastest Way to Prep for ADX?

What is the best (fastest) method or software to study for ADX written? I heard Sheppard Air and AllATP were far better than Gleim because they eliminate over a 1/3 of the overall database questions and provide hints and tips to study and pass within a couple of days.

I am using ASA right now. Not sure if it is the fastest or not. It has quite a bit of material to cover. Im not looking for the fastest way personally. I want to learn the stuff so I know it before I get to the practical and then job.

Unfortunately, the ADX has very little helpful information for dispatching day-to-day, and completing the FAA practical exam.

Said another way, it's a terrible test.

That sure is the truth.

I used the Gleim software so many times I just had the answer memorized. In fact I am pretty sure thats what everyone does.

The Gleim CD-ROM is the way to go for the ADX. You can create your own tests based on your weaknesses in the ATP book and have the program save questions you get wrong in practice. Instead of relying on rote memorization to correct when you take practice tests in the book, the software can randomize the question list to force the correct thought. The CD-ROM is much easier and more time-efficient when studying for the exam as opposed to the book, IMO.

Sheffield gave us a list of questions in the Gleim ATP book most likely to appear on the exam (550 or something like that). They even offer it to those who are not enrolled on their course via the website (http://www.sheffield.com/FAA_test_prep.html#banks). I plugged them into the Gleim CD-ROM for my practice tests and came out of the real exam with a score of 94. I'd highly recommend the CD-ROM for your ADX test prep.
