Yup, I mean, Volvo never, ever built a car that was superior to the M3. I should have been a little more specific. I'd take a mid-90's 850 T5R over a mid-90's M3 any day. It would walk the BMW of a similar year. Once Ford and GM got ah old of Volvo/Saab, they're worthless. Prior to that, they built some quick stuff.

And what up with all the Swede haters? No one remembers when Volvo used to spank 944s in Showroom Stock with the 740 wagon?
Personally I loved to do trackdays in my 9000 Aero. All the ricers would be ripping on me while I pulled out the car seats, until the torque started hitting the ground. I could pull enough on the straights that few FWD ricers could catch back up in the corners. I could hang with a fairly stock E36 or 90s Mustang on the straights, but tires ,mass and traction became a limiting factor (largest I could get in there were 225s, and they tended to rub).

And, uh, yeah good job GM on buying Saab, stealing all their technology, and running them into the ground with badge engineering and piss poor marketing, just like Harley did to Buell. Take something unique with great history, and toss it away. Good work.
 
Nice pictures man! I love all of the porches. I also find it pretty cool that there is that 1 random black camaro mixed in with them. America has got to be represented somehow right? ;)

Nice, is that your M as well? Gotta say I love the car, and though it doesn't make purists happy with a tuned s52 under the hood, it is a scary fast DD with a dynoed 280 HP and 2800#'s. Little bit stiff of a ride for daily commuting (car was set up for and tracked by the previous owner), but it drives like it is on rails. Have done a few little cosmetic mods since that pic was taken (removing that nasty tint being the first of them), but basically everything else is exactly how I want it.

my e30 is setup for auto x, and kind of sucks sometimes to daily drive, like yours it's too stiff, but it handles great.

that's my m as well, love that car. it doesn't get out that often, 2003 with just over 30k on it.
