NH/Northern MA Flying

Just some pictures from the past month or two of flying in NH and a bit of Northern Mass. I'm based out of LWM, but it's almost always up north i go to my home state of NH!

I really am lucky to live/fly here...i can't imagine the midwest...FLAT!
We got mountains, the coast, and a Bravo all within an hour or less of each other.

Thanks for sharing. I'm heading back up that way tomorrow (KASH) and will be based out of there for my next rotation. Looks like the weather isn't going to be conducive for shooting pics though.

In the LWM picture I lived on the hill under the water tower for a little over a year in 1986.

I grew up in Bolton; was just at LWM to pick my kids up last week - they went to Canobie Lake for the day until I got there.

Cool pics! I live in southern NH, did training out of ASH and currently fly over the area a lot on the LEB-BOS runs, some familiar sites!

In the Hampton Beach picture if you follow the large river (Hampton River) back to where the marsh meets the tree line....that is where I live.

Cant see my house in the picture though.

No way! We'll have to meet up some time, i'm over there all the time. I'm getting sworn in to the NH Air Guard up at PSM the end of this month...i'll be spending alot of time right on the coast when i'm back from training.

Im friends with Uncle Nobby on this site as well. We meet up at Hampton Airfield once a month or so and do breakfast or go flying somewhere if weather permits...which it never does.

Took a trip down to Montauk, NY on Long Island, then shot over to Block Island, then flew over the Bravo of BOS on the way home. Hell of a day!
