If you are serious, and I mean you love flying so much you could do it for the rest of your professional life serious, then you only need to ask yourself these questions:
1. Can I afford the high cost of flight training?
2. Am I willing to work as a CFI for at least two years to get my 1500 hrs?
3. Am I willing to live the lifestyle that is required in order to advance in the industry.
If you really want to fly and are willing to work for a position at FedEX or UPS or anywhere that will pay you a decent amount of money, you need to consider all that is involved with such an undertaking. It's definitely not impossible, and the juice is definitely worth the squeeze.
