Hey everyone,
I'm a UND CFI and thought I'd say hi and tell a little about myself

I've been here for some time and there's no end in sight.
As my name implies, modern aviation does not impress me, as I am more interested with "old aviation" you know steam gauges, VORs, the fundamentals of flight etc. But just like life, either adapt or die, so I've adapted to glass cockpits and GPS. Before UND I've flown in other states and got my Private before coming here. I'm here to help and answer questions when I can, I'm pretty busy. Until then later!

Welcome Oldschool. There are a few of us CFI folk on here. Sounds like you and I may have some stuff in common. I would have loved to have gotten in this game about 40-50 years ago flying round engines and NDB approaches all day

Thanks everyone, looks like I got a wide variety of responses.

ScoutFlyer, too bad UND doesn't have a radial available. UND could have gotten one of those instead of a fancy jet they bought only to sell it later, haha!

Yes those thunderstroms were interesting. Around 11:30 on radar it was just a single cell west of town and about an hour later it turned into a giant line of storms stretching all the way from Forks up to Baudette, amazing.

Some of us have better things to do than badmouth UND on JC my friend.

...like finish flight courses ;).
