The microphone cover on my Lightspeed Zulu headset is torn and beginning to come apart. Any suggestions on a replacement? I've seen a few headsets with a pleather cover around the front and a foam opening on the talk side. Any idea who makes that cover?
I just happened to run into an FBO that sold them last time I was in Houston, but sportys has one listed for lightspeed headsets. Sorry, I can't find the pleather one, I'll keep looking though.

Same thing happened to me with my cheap ASA headset and I had to pay a ridiculous price for a little piece of foam. Normally wouldn't have done it but I wasn't sure if it not having one had any effect on ATC's ability to hear me clearly.
get the Oregon Aero kit. It works best with a foam piece underneath the pleather (not sure if they include the foam in the kit though). It really cuts down on wind noise, and you'll never have to buy the foam muff again.
