Robin from ABC's Good Morning America takes a flight with Sully. Interesting video. She talks about her father flying and then she goes flying with the man himself.

I'm not sure if this is the direct link but the story is called Robin's Flying High with Sully.

The video said who the King Air owner was. It was not Sully.

And yes, Sully is a great Ambassador.

I enjoyed his book. I especially like the section when he was first introduced to FO Skyles. Sounds like Skyles was a ballbuster. :D

Seems like a whole lot of chatter going on for being below 10,000! How unprofessional and dangerous!! :sarcasm:

Skiles is hillarious. He's a Waco owner. Funny guy. A real smart ass but not arrogant with it and mostly he gets abuse heaped on him from other club members calling him "Gooseboy" and "THE co-pilot" and things of that nature. He is a prince of a guy.

Besides all the names brought up, to me it also brought up names like Peter Graves, Leslie Nielson, Lloyd Bridges, and Robert Stack from the classic 1980 aviation spoof “Airplane!”. In the lead-in to several scenes of the movie, we would see the profile of the Boeing 707 jet airplane flying through the cloud filled night sky, yet the sound of the jet was that of a propeller driven airplane. Obviously it was to get a snicker from those that know the difference. Several times during Robins piece on GMA, we saw the King Air speeding by, yet the dubbed in engine sound, sounded as though it was that of a 120mph piston engine Cessna Skyhawk. Ha! Ha! I loved it! Did anyone else catch that?

Two things...

1. Sully looked so relaxed (and at home) flying that King Air.

2. He was wearing a BOSE headset.

Wonderful piece and a great gift from EAA to Robin for her first flight lesson.

I wouldnt have noticed it had you not pointed it out, but that is pretty funny.

Some things are changing in my life, and I will get back into the air soon, this video makes me excited for it.
