Special Use Airspace...

While mowing out flight plans, especially when planning around weather and routing off of your usual company route, what does everyone use to check for hot areas? FAA SUA map? Your ASD? FIR NOTAMS? Combo Map+NOTAMS?

Just curious how some other Ops get the job done.

The only time I used to re-route when releasing the flights was only after I would get feedback from my pilots who told me that ATC informed them that they could not fly inside the airspace for whatever reason and vectored them another way. I would then go back into the saved routes and change the jetway I used that put the crew in the airspace, reprocessed to make sure the route was valid, filed and printed the plan. I would do my best to check for inroute NOTAMS in pilotweb. But unless it was a permanent restriction, I just release as planned and let ATC vector the flights.
