I'll miss seeing you around SFO man, but I'm glad you're moving on the bigger and better things. You and the other FAT CA I mentioned to you are really the only two pilots who I ever see give any level of customer service that goes above and beyond. I look up to what I've seen you do as the way I'd act if I ever make it to the left seat. Good luck next season!

I would prefer to go back to OO after the fire season, but my leave of absence has been denied.

Dear Dale,

Just the other day in ORD, while waiting for my commute home, I ran into Sean Swain and got into the SAPA discussion. Your efforts in starting up the program were brought up and we both agreed that you have done a tremendous job, considering how your hands were tied behind your back with some keys issues.

It was a pleasure flying with you, and a relief from the "I know it all attitude" that I'm sure you had to deal with when you upgraded. Unfortunately, all the goods ones go first.

I think you will be very happy pursuing what makes you happy. I think I may be following your path as well very soon. It is coming to a point where I also have to make a decision to stay here or fulfill my second dream of a successful business.

Give me a buzz when your down here sometime and we'll grab some dinner.
