CSIP anyone?

I cant really talk, but I think its amazing how polarizing the very topic of Cirrus can be. This thread took off in seconds.

I heard his daughter in signature after ask, "why doesn't our plane have two engines like that?"

sometimes kids just say the darndest things

It wouldnt surprise me if a 22 outran a -55 baron in cruise, actually on final for that matter. Gotta go at least 130kts to compensate for those gusty 12kt x-winds.

I suppose 30 years ago bonanzas could do the same thing.

I like flying the cirrus  (yeah i said it) but it attracts sooo many women personal cleaning bags that it really ruins the image.

The sales team is really over the top...they will sell at any cost and not leave someone alone until they buy or get a restraining order

As a self admitted Cirrus hater, I like the airplane, I just havent met too many of its pilots that impress me. On top of that I think the Vision will only make things worse.

More money than brains comes to mind.

Once you get your CSIP you'll understand even more. Ever flown one before?

I personally think it's one of the easiest planes, that I have ever flown, to land

After flying an Ercoupe, and a Cirrus, the Cirrus is waay easier. And thats dangerous with a HP engine.

I have yet to fly one. I'm not going to lie though, it does seem like a pretty cool and technologically advanced aircraft to fly.

Probably more advanced than that CJ1 you've flown. But i used to fly a straight 500, so thats actually something I have decent experience with.

It's faster too :D

Fun to fly, your clientele will probably have a ton of money so I hope you get paid well. Just like any other CFIing, however these guys will try harder than most to kill you, so stay on your toes!

Yeah I could tell by the ridiculous cars in the parking lot. Surprisingly a lot of women are flying these things too. I guess their husbands don't do it for them anymore.

Actually I ran into a lot of husbands making them do it, so they can "share a hobby" it was the easiest money and most of them never got checked off on it.

Without a doubt probably is. Nothing like 330KTS TAS burning 1100GPH at FL280.

We tried to talk the owner into getting it RVSM'd but, his justification was that he could buy a lot of gas for 100k. Cant really argue with that.

1) 1100 GPH is a bunch of gas :D
2) 100k for an RVSM on a 500 isn't bad. The one I flew was quoted 500k to RVSM it, but it was an absolute POS.

Blah, half a bottle of vodka will do that, PPH.

500k? I cant imagine it being worse than ours though.
