So FlyChicaga pointed out on FB that JFK is currently experiencing a ground stop until 6pm EST for winds.....

Some are landing, some are going around.
Just recently.....
JetBlue 123, Going Around....followed immediately by Mexicana 123, Going Around. Then a split second after receiving their missed instructions, I hear Mexicana 123, we need to divert to to Montreal.
It could easily be unrelated I suppose, but do airlines rules that state one attempt and then it's off to the divert? It almost seems like the Mexicana pilots said screw it, we are not going back through that again...
