2 PSA FA's suspended

I hope one of them is the US Air flight attendant that kicked me on my flight from Cancun-PHL a couple years ago. I was reading a book in an aisle seat with my leg stretched out beside the support for the seat in front. It was intruding on the aisle but not so much as to be a trip hazard. Well this FA comes up with the beverage cart and as she rudely says "You need to keep you feet out of the aisle!" she kicked my foot, hard enough to cause minor pain, nothing serious but still. She kicked a passenger?

My one experience with a PSA F/A and gate checked bag was very bad, even as a crew member. She was incredibly condescending and treated me like I was about 8 years old. Wonder if it was her. I kinda hope so.

"Religious slur" that offended one of the FAs??

I think that people (ergo, that FA) need to thicken their skin significantly, especially if they are in a job in which they interact with the general public.

Not knowing the Flight Attendants and having our Manager of In flight as my FA yesterday due to no staffing I can tell you there are two sides to every story..... I'm not protecting either side, but if you are given a direction by a crew member you need to listen period. The Captain is, as we know, in charge of the ship which includeds the "Kitchen". However the FA's are in charge of that Cabin which happens to be inside the Captains "Ship" and thus they need to be paid attention to and respected/listened to....

I kind of wish I was on this flight. Because not watching survivor I could not care WHOM you are. You are a paying pax, trying to get home. I do not care if you are Hillary Clinton (whom I have had on flights) or Mr Off Line Jumpseater.... You are not above the rules, entitled to anything that others are not, and mostly not excused from listening to those in charge in the back..... Do not go telling me you are on Survivor and expect me to care any more about you then the lady whom paid 300 bucks for her ticket, never flies, and just had a death in her family..... You are the same and shall be treated the same...

Not saying if the behavior was unprofessional she should not be addressed.... But for a "celeberty" acting the way this person did appears to be rather unprofessional as well... I have a strong gut feeling, much like any other pax, you will continue to fly whatever airline has the cheapest ticket/fare.... Maybe not right away but you will....

Not saying you did not have a bad experience. But it is in their FOM says that if you are a crew member, your rollerboard and flight case go under the plane. I'm not saying it excuses any poor behavior, but it is expected that you are a crewmember place your stuff under the plane like everyone else.... It had to do with weight and balance issues that were questioned a couple years ago I believe.... Keeping in mind we at PSA I'm sure like AWAC, ASA, RAH, DAL, AA or any other airline have some rather poor "Customer Service Employees" working as FA, gate agents, ticket counter employees etc...

Paul mentioned it , but the way our weights and balance are done, Only the three crew members bags can be carried in the cabin. If we are deadheading on reserve we have to put our bags in the belly. Almost every flight our FAs get bawled out for doing what has to be done. Perhaps she erroneously thought a crewmember from another airline should know that. I had a express jet FA who acted like a trailer park special nearly knock me on my ass as I said good morning, holding my jumpseat form and stepping on board. Apparently at Express Jet the FA is the first approval, at least on her plane. I just ignored her babbling and smiled, she was one of those FA that does the job, to be the center of attention.

Concerning the PSA flt, if I was the Captain I would have thrown her off, and backed the FAs to the hilt. The lady who got mad at the offensive language needs to take a course in religion though. In the old testament it was Abram changing his name to Abraham, tying his name to the Hebrew God of the Old Testament. Arming troops who invade an entire continent with "Gott Mitt Uns" or a pope declaring a crusade is "God'd will" are certainly using the Lord's name in vain. I don't use that word, and don't like it, but that is not a reason to throw a person off a flight. Noncompliance is and if they acted professionally, I think they should be reinstated. The AFA should file a suit against her imho.

I love when celebrities, or heck. Let me put it this way, I love it when "people who have been in front of a camera and broadcast on tv" -- you might know their name, but it doesn't necessarily mean you think they're 'stars' necessarily demand special treatment.

I was non-revving from LAX to ATL once and I heard, "Do you know who I am? I'm (blank blank) and my agent will hear about this!"

The flight attendants didn't know who she was, I did because I was forced to sit through one of the movies she was costarring in, but it wasn't like it was some world-changing, life-altering role! :)

Yep that was pointed out after. I didn't argue, I simply said "OK" and turned around and dropped it off. That didn't factor into my thought process of "she's a witch". The fact she treated me like I was 8 was what made me think she was a witch. It really was unbelievable how condescending she was, but then again when your full time pay is $15,000 a year I really can't blame them, I blame the airline for paying so low that that is the kind of person they hire. Like was pointed out before there are some F/A's who really enjoy bossing people around. We have some ex-TWA/ATA/US Air/even furloughed Delta folks here and they are night and day the way they treat the passengers.

I agree.... On a side note, this lady said this was one of the most embrassing moments of her life.... I guess posing nude is playboy is not embrassing for her though? :)

Actually, that scores points with me, but I'm a shallow dirtbag like that.
