Any good flying companies in Wisconsin? I know of Freight Runners in Milwaukee but I don't quite meet their mins. But thats all I know of.

Dont know what your hours are, or your experience, but Sterling Aviation out of KMKE hires co pilots from time to time.

Accepting -> yes.

Just had a class of 6 i think finish couple weeks ago. Might be a while b4 more get hired on though.

Tell me more about those 6 that just finished....were they referred by current employees there or were they just picked from the pile?

Nice. It is good to see that things are starting to move over at ACC. I know they are based out of Milwaukee, but they don't have any flight bases out of SE WI do they? I am from that area originally and didn't have much luck getting any kind of flight job. I moved to Mississippi to be a CFI and am now in the Carribean. There are 3 other guys from WI down here too.

As for WI Aviation, are they accepting resumes? That is a pretty nice outfit over there in Watertown/Madison/Juneau.

For the original poster... Good luck in the search. I hope you find something.

Menards is out of Wisconsin and has a decent size corporate aviation department.

One problem with that though... I hear that they pump the menards song through the audio panel all day, so you have to listen to it like every other employee. :) J/K, but that song will drive you insane.

Nope, a good friend of mine is a CFI/Charter Pilot there and gives me updates whenever there's job openings. There has been a non-flying jobs though, but it was filled internally. I've got to meet the chief pilot and talk about the company a bit. It seems like a great place to work and man would I love to be back in my homeland!

HA!:rotfl:

I would put up with it to fly the 1900s and citations they have out of EAU

Yeah, he was pretty awesome. I like Menards too, the employees there seem a little more knowlegeable than the ones at Lowe's for instance. I just dread the song that seem to be on a continuous loop every time I go in there. In my hometown (West Bend, WI) they have a Home Depot and Menards right next to each other. The employees of each store bash their competition all the time. If you go to Menards they will say stuff like, "Don't go to Home Cheapo." And conversely the Home Depot guys will say, "Stay away from Retards." Kind of funny stuff.

Exactly how do you have 1379 hours and 2 minutes of flight time? Unless you don't use the normal decimal system that would be impossible :p

Not sure. Think at least a couple were referred internally.

Nope, sched runs out all over the place, training and some charter out of MKE.
