Hey folks!
I've been negotiating with a number of employers that are forecasting needing employees later this year and we've already got some signed up. So, basically, I've started a new webpage with "one stop shopping" for the annual "NetworkJC" event.
What I'm trying to do is continue the spirit of NetworkJC where we all get together, have a great time networking and make lots of great memories AND tagging on "convention-style" format.
Just a little teaser:
Two majors are coming
One large cargo carrier (large like planes where they warn me in a 767-300 about wake turbulence)
A major "Herdon-based" organization, perhaps two.
Two regionals
A Middle East airline that actively recruits expat Americans (think "largest building in the world")
A pilot-friend financial services specialist
Good Ole' Walt Forred, specializing in great medicals and special issuances
Col. Abel Barrientes, Vice Commander of the 4th Air Force (You want to work for the guard or reserve, THIS is the guy)
A large flight training academy in the Southwest
And AirlineApps.com
There are a lot more groups that are expressing interest, but stay tuned for more information.
And that's just after two weeks of work. Imagine what we're going to be able to pull off!
So, before I announce specifics, this is what I'd like:
If you want to see your airline or employer represented, if you can either get me contact information or have them contact me, I'll do the rest.
If you've got vendors that you'd like to see, forward me their contact information or talk to them about the event. Pilot supply stores (*cough* Slush *COUGH*), sunglasses, software, whatever, let me know.
Kristie and I are still juggling RFP's from various venues in Las Vegas and should have specifics on dates and location very soon. We've partnered with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority who has been a wealth of free and helpful information so this event will be unlike anything you've seen before.
Stay tuned.
Thanks for your support over the last decade and hope to see y'all this October.
Look for information as it solidifies here and at AviationCareerExpo.com
(that's not a third-party website, that's me!
)
Yeah it's a recession, blah blah blah, but if you're "in it to win it" don't miss out.
