Finally....I'm a CFI

because of the implication...
after 9 reschedules due to poor weather in the Chicago area I got my CFI-A.......I even had to get my 2 month endorsement(the former 60-day)...re-endorsed

very rewarding...and I learned more then I ever could have imagined in the process!
 
Congrats!

I have my checkride next weekend... Any chance of a more detailed write up?

Also, if you don't mind me asking, who/where did you take it with in the Chicago area?

oh yes I do have a huge write up...I will post after I finish several alcoholic beverages:beer:
 
Congrats, man! I just finished mine a few weeks ago. What a sense of accomplishments.

Now comes the fun part--finding students! :rotfl::insane::laff:
 
Congrats! I can't believe it took this long to get finally scheduled and done! I figured I missed your post about finishing it. I remember you posting in my CFI thread about your scheduling troubles getting it done!

Relief, eh? Congrats again!

who did you have at the FSDO...I was very unimpressed w/ their training though Elmer was awesome.
 
so you want to give me my biennial? its due at the end of april and i'll probably be in the Chicago area. the funny thing is that bob and simon have to pay for it.

That many delays for that size of checkride would be beyond frustrating and time consuming.
Way to stay in there.

haha I'd be happy!!!

I do charge a steep fare...I'll give you a discount, how bout a case of beer and I'll need a certified check from both bob and simon...b/c your Flight Review may take about 46 hours....you never can be too safe.

I went with a DPE...the FSDO was so hard to schedule...every 2 weeks and they weren't even available in the month of January.

Elmer was good, I was mostly with Jordan and Dennis...mostly Jordan who gave me my endorsement

#3 - It may have been that dollar bill I shoved down her throat, It might have been when I hit her in the head with that stool...I don't know I'm not a Doctor...What I do know that didn't kill her...that snap roll at 300 agl
