Airmet "G"

People still use Duats?

Duh!

Riddle Kids all know about DUATS!1 It shows their 1337 sk1llz. Why you slippin'? Went all Part 91 and lost your Riddle groove.

<3 u

But anyway, this is not a NEW designation for an AIRMET.

This is, as it is appropriately titled on the ADDS website, merely a Graphical-AIRMET interpretation.

G-AIRMET, not AIRMET G.

It's been in 'beta' for a while, very cool how you can animate it and see the changes over time.

All your base belong to us.

or something.

Once you're back at the gig can I just call you for my super duper military weather brief or should I continue to just click through the pages at the weather computer pretending like i'm doing something?

They're going to keep on and one of these days even I will be able to understand what those maps and charts are trying to tell me. :o:o

I still use DUATS. :dunno:

No dispatch department to file my stuff, and I loathe calling FSS.

Fltplan.com?

I actually tend to use duat.com. I can just submit all of my flightplans the night before. I'll jump on DUATS if I forget to file...DUATS will let you file 10 minutes beforehand, whereas DUAT will only let you do 30 prior.

I have a fltplan.com account but I never really use it. DUAT is fine.

Click through. ;)

Unless of course you're going to be operating within 15 E / 45 N to 15 E / 0 Degrees to then over to 90 E and then up to 45 N closing the box along the northern portion to 15 E / 45 N again (roughly).

or for a graphical experience, since we're all enthused about G-AIRMET - http://www.map-of-asia.us/sw-asia-r530.gif
