-8 First test flight today.

Most importantly, it has a 15' (I think) fuselage stretch, which allows more pallet positions. The first time the fuse has been stretched.

Hopefully we get our order + options. That would be good.

I think it is 18' so it will be interesting to see if the rotation technique changes.

On a side note, are we not able to edit posts anymore? New computer and keyboard so I have a little typo in my first post.

I seem to only be able to edit right after the post. After a while the option disappears...

I'm guessing it will be a double rotation like we did in the classic.

I wonder if they jacked up the gear to have it sit higher.

On a good note, they derated our GEs to B1F power. Yeah!!! I get to see the red lights real close now.

I watched the landing...have you ever noticed, that, as long as a plane doesn't crash, the landings are always described as "perfect"? On this particular landing, they bounced on the nosewheel. Not that I wouldn't have been happy with it, seeing as it was the first ever landing of the -8, but it wasn't exactly "perfect" :)

On speed, on centerline, on the blocks.

No crap fell off.

Everyone walked away.

Perfect.

Anyone look at it and think it just looks weird?
