Many Unbelievably Fantastic Fares

"Eets OK, comrade, I have many years of flying for weeertual AirChechnya!"

I'm not sure I'd trust a $5 "add-on" for anesthesia.

Besides, I wouldn't trust $1 Sushi not to give me "The Runs", I sure in hell wouldn't depend on $9 air fares not to be conducive to me flying on a Tupolev-154, full of MEL's, with a adolescent Chechnyan crew.

Hey as long as two of the three engines are making power, the stress cracks in the main wing spar are less than two inches long, the flight attendants still have most of their teeth OR cold war era, steel dental work equivalent AND most importantly at least one crewmember is conscious for take off and landing . . . I'm onboard baby! :D

I wouldn't fly Spirit simply because I don't feel like being treated like trash and crammed in with sub standard seat pitch. However, and perhaps you can answer this Doug, where do you draw the line of "respectable" airline. Some (in fact many) could argue the regionals are of the quality of "$5 add on for *insert service here*." I've avoided flying on ASA out of Daytona and Melbourne for the reasons you described....

I wouldn't fly Delta Connection CRJ-200 operated by Pinnacle Airlines simply because I don't feel like being treated like trash and crammed in with sub standard seat pitch.

Fixed. :) Although we probably have about 10 FAs that WON'T treat you like trash outta MEM. Maybe more in MSP or DTW.

:laff:

To be honest, it was as bare bones as it gets. But, we were on an A319 so it wasn't too terrible.

And the fees are outrageous if you check a bag (or two) or eat or drink or touch something. I was tempted to drink the sink water in the lav.:cwm27:

If people keep insisting "I ain't payin' mornin' $70 fer a teekut," it's gonna get worse....

Spirit is known for using risque advertising layouts. Nothing new there.

I had a prof that was a Spirit A321 Cap. and he had tons of Spirit swag that had all these kinds of stuff on it. Good stuff it gets people looking and buying.

Here are a couple.

Many Islands, Low Fares!

Eye of the Tiger

They also had a legroom one with a ruler or something like that I can't remember

Yep. Nicaraguan variety. She's actually a rescue that I'm re-homing this week. Probably gonna pick up a Suriname red tail at Repticon in May.

I have carpet pythons myself. Though I did handle an alligator (3 foot) rescue over xmas break one year.
