Starting at PPragman and Tallflyer's place of business in Juneau, AK the middle of this month. I'll be a mech.

Many thanks to those two for their help and advice! I'm scared crapless about the move and job change but it'll be head and shoulders above where I'm working now!

Guess I can ditch the Dickies work shorts and start stocking up on Carhartts...
 
Well, once you get used to the 14 feet of snow you have to shovel every morning, dodging black bear on the way to your car, living in igloos, and daily floggings from the boss this place aint half bad.

Congrats!

Just curious - it does seem like you just got this gig in Houston - what is taking you all the way to Alaska? Is it just insane money?
