I'm casually strolling through the Delta terminal in JFK waiting for my connection and who do I bump into? Yup it's my first official Doug sighting.

Yeah I was telling Kristie that I just walked out of the lounge and there ya were!

Good seeing you man, hope you enjoyed your flights on Delta!

We sure did. Yelena and I had a whole row to ourselves from JFK-LAX and the SVO-JFK crew was just awesome in taking care of us. Nice to see professional courtesy extended like that. :)

FSIflyer, you have a typo in your sig.

"ATP, CFII, MEI, former U.S. Marine"

There is no such thing as a former Marine. Once a Marine, always a Marine!

:) I was always told that there are no "ex" Marines only former ones. With the slowly growing size of my gut I definitely can't say that I am an active Marine. I will have to think of something clever to change it to.

So did Doug ask for a job?

I think Doug is doing just fine. But should he ever come asking for one he gets an auto pass to the top of the list. We will just have to beat the airline out of him during initial and make him a corporate cat. :)

Allen, you ever going to post more pics of your Flight Attendants.

Tell them I say hi!

:hiya:

I keep meaning to post more pics and then I forget or something comes up. Now that I am on days off I will see if I can get some posted.

Hey Seggy,
I found a pic I had on my computer from our company Halloween party. :)

Actually, there is one such individual in existance. Doug knows of whom I speak. Used to be called "Captain Kokomo" but now is addressed as "Mr."

America's Favorite "Second Officer!"

Yeeeeeeeah, that's him! Look closely!

The proper terminology is "former Marine." There are no "ex-Marines," but there are "former Marines." Former implies you were active, but now are not active. Ex implies you used to be a Marine, but we know that "once a Marine, always a Marine."

You learn things when you have a former Marine as a girlfriend. :D Plus I was a Marine option in NROTC, but... I gave that up for the airlines. Oops. :(
