How hard is it to get ur foot in the door over at Avantair in Tampa? And when do they expect there next hiring to begin? Any help appreciated.
 
No idea on when they'll hire. I've run in to a few of them over the years. They all said "internal rec #1", which is pretty standard, but they seemed to really mean it. The last guy I talked to was ex-military and definitely just hanging out till better things came along. The last minimums I heard I just barely met (don't remember what they were exactly, but I was probably around 5200TT, 1800 TPIC at the time). Talked to one guy years ago who was uncomfortable with being asked to do some shady things on repo legs, but that was a while ago and haven't heard anything like it since. Best of luck.
 
Well, you could fly for Gulfstream Acadamy and try to live off the wages they pay you. That could be pretty challenging.
