Sportys ruined their online tests (the figures are blurry halfway down the page for me) and exams4pilots is either wrong or points you to figures that aren't there. Anybody know of decent, preferably free practice written software I could use? I'm looking for instrument.

You know, I took the figures from the FAA computer testing supplement when exams4pilots did not have the figure. I ran into the same exact problem..

i thought it was just me being a student pilot that thought e4p had some answers that seemed fishy.
I'll try to track them down later today. I thought it might have been my computer but a few people I talked to said they'd had the same problem.

Which test is it? Are you looking at the PDF with all the figures in it?
Instrument written. I haven't tried that, I'm just clicking on the link to the PDF when it comes up on a question.

Try downloading the PDF that includes all the figures before you start the test. I think those come straight from the FAA, but I'm not sure.
The option to do that is on the screen where you choose learning or flashcard mode.

How can their database be smaller? If it is, then they are leaving out some quetions in the test bank.

Not at all. They only have questions in their bank that have actually appear on the test. Again, I don't work for them, I have just used them. If you call Mike he will give you the whole breakdown of their system. EVERYONE who has used them loves them.
If there are any "surprise" questions of the test you get your money back - regardless of whether you passed or not.
Again, I don't work for them or anything...I have just used them before. Call Mike and you will get the entire low down on how they structure their software.

I thought I saw somewhere that they have a lot fewer questions to study than Gleem? Like the ATP was around 1000 questions and Sheppard was around 700? Is this true?
