220 an hour for a Citabria? That must be one nice Citabria. I don't see any reason for one to be that high.

Is it new, or only a couple years old? Is it an experienced tailwheel instructor?

If you answered yes to both of those questions, I'd say $220/hour is about right. I'd expect to pay something like $130/hour for the plane and $90/hour for the instructor. Remember the size of the market you're dealing with.
