How many pilots does Southernjets have?
Around 12,265 pilots.
Wow, I didn't realize that. Thanks.
What's the 70% thing? Can you bid for a position based on where you'd fall in seniority on it?
I wouldn't mind flying the 330, but only with a line and at none of the bases that it's at.
How's that for "ain't gonna doowit!"?![]()
What position/seat can you hold with your seniority T-cart?
Bingo....
Around 12,265 pilots.
Of which, over 5,000 will be retiring in the next decade!

Hell, if I COULD retire in the next decade, you bet I would. I don't actually WANT to fly until I'm 65. I really don't even want to fly at 60. I'd much rather retire in the 50-55 range if I can.
No sarcasm needed.... I think it may actually be more than that...

What's funny is I just met a retired Delta captain last night who was eagerly seeking an entry level piloting job because, after 6 years of retirement, he couldn't take it anymore!!
I'm with you though, I'd much rather be retired at 50-55, but that's just wishful thinking in my case.
