Ok folks, I have a question for all you CFIs out there. It has been just shy of 3 years since I have logged any time, mainly due to finances. I have my commercial instrument SEL and I am finally ready to get current again. Dealing with just a BFR and not an IPC just yet, how many hours do you think it would take to get current again, assuming you are dealing with a competent pilot? And also, what would you do with someone that hasn't flown in 3 years? (cross country, manuevers, a ton of pattern work, etc.) I am just trying to get a sense of how much this is going to cost me to get current again minus an IPC for now.
Also, I am in Charlotte and I have been looking at Rock Hill to do the work so if you guys have any insight on that school or any other schools in the area, or even a specific CFI to work with, it will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan
