"Ice Pilots" New Reality TV Show

I just don't find her all that attractive. The giant tattoo on her back when she was swimming pretty much killed it for me. I found it entertaining watching the Indian guy trying to push the 600lb. crate on the truck.

Ramans ramp dance was awesome! Seems like they never stop running into issues up there though. I can't wait until next week.

Thank you for posting the links. I downloaded the first 4 at work since it takes less time than at home. Now I can finally check these out.

Hey man, I was asked to tell you congrats about your Miami Dolphins victory this evening over Moncton!
Oh man, WHAT A GAME!

Dolphins beating the Patriots is my idea of sports nirvana!!

(I've recently redecorated a locker of a certain co-worker of mine, who just so happens to be a Patriots fan... lets just say it's showing a little Aqua and Orange these days :D )

On Episode 4, I got to wondering if Buffalo would get paid for flying to Fort Simpson to at least attempt picking up the generators or if it would all be a lost cause.

I think this next episode or the one after we get to fly along transatlantic on the CL-415's going to Turkey, should be cool...

I was wondering the same thing... although I've noticed that a lot of those people can't seem to drive forklifts very well. It looked to me like they should have definitely had the first generator on board if they got the right steering angle to slip it through the door.

BTW, they're the 215's with radials they're selling. The 415's are turboprops and lack a certain oily drip of manliness. :D

Part of that problem was the "forklift" they were using. A front end loader does not make a good forklift. It was not made for that. The articulated steering and the swing of the lift (swings up and down in an arc, not straight up and down like a forklift) they are not easy to make small adjustments in position like the 1/4" difference they needed.

That's a good point. I was looking at it thinking the articulation would make it easier to swing it into the door and around the corner. I think they need a C-123 and solve their loading problems once and for all! :)

I've noticed that there are still a lot of people having problems getting the videos to play. Using Firefox, I found the easiest was get FoxyProxy.

thanks for that. it works great - takes a little finagling, but i learned a new skill. eh. :D

Just finished episodes 1 and 2. AWESOME
That is some hard livin they do up north. Would be so cool, no pun intended, to fly those ships.

So a Canadian regs question:

The show makes it appear like they're letting a 'rampie' get into a pilot's seat and fly the aircraft. I know under Pt. 135 you couldn't even put a non-crewmember in the seat let alone let them manipulate the controls.....

I assume (hope?) the same is true in Canada?
