FWIW, the -46 is one sweet beast that has few competitors. It hauled the freight in Burma and in talking to the guys in Alaska about it, there is nothing that can really replace it.
I've got just a few hours in it and I was awed by it. Not for the faint of heart.

Official Twitter feed for Ice Pilots NWT show posted a link to their FaceBook page, where you can ask them to "GET THIS SHOW ON U.S. TV NAO!!". This is what they say:
"The reason that Americans can't view the videos online through History.ca is because History Television only owns the rights to air the show to Canadians. It's frustrating, but how TV works. But a US deal is part of our plan. The more US support we get from early fans like you - the better!"
Doesn't quite explain why the 1st episode is viewable on the Internet (vs. a TV channel) at their website _only if you're in Canad, Eh._
