Osprey question?

hey im sure this has been asked before but i searched the forums and the web but couldnt find an answer. How is osprey time logged?? fixed wing or rotor?? overflew what sounded like a squadron returning from deployment?? yesterday...but talk about a tedious trip they were dragging at 9,000 ft from i guess lajes? to Bermuda and then palm beach and onward with a few c-130's...thanks RD

It's considered part of the Powered Lift category, and Tiltrotor class threin. Harrier also falls into this category, IIRC.

thanks, talk about a quick reply......i wonder how employers would view osprey time? i guess there havent been too many guys with osprey time leaving AF/MC given its relatively recent introduction...RD.....

I don't know how employers would feel about it, but my hat is certainly off to anyone who logged a lot of Osprey time and lived to tell about it, particularly the guys who flew it in the early days.
