JEP, you're fast.

I posted that just a couple minutes ago.

The top one is, indeed, yours truly. I must have been doing something important like plotting or making a position report.

6 airplanes and 2 are in the same place at the same time....

The one Travis posted was not me. I'd like to take credit for getting the work done in those windy conditions, but alas, I can not.

I was busy testing the bandwidth here at work.... :D

Holly crap! That beast in the crosswind landing had it's wingtips flapping like crazy from the wind gusts!

polar only has six airplanes?

FACT.

Another fun fact - When the 6 airplanes came off of scheduled service and went into the DHL "ACMI-like" (their words) service, company profit DOUBLED.

Amazing.

omg...i cant believe they released the chemtrail spraying vid!

ps. JEP, your avatar of judas must go.

So who has more planes, Atlas or Polar?

Atlas - They have 16 airplanes, we have 6.

We went from scheduled service to ACMI, which is basically Fee for Departure flying. The company gets X amount of dollars for each flight and doesn't take a risk on the load.

Sound like any other set ups out there? ;)

Polar, how many feet of travel do you think the wing flexed in that second vid?

Uh....best guess is enough it made the ride smooth, and not enough to snap them.

I had the opportunity to ride UAL business facing the wing from SFO to HKG on a 747-400, so it was a fairly heavy chevy. It amazed me the different directions and how the wing moved. And it was smooth out.
