Career Prep CD and the ATSAT

Hello all, I am new to the site (as you might be able to tell from my post count) and before I get to my question, if this topic has a thread already dedicated to it, could please provide me with the link. If not, I have been doing practice tests on the Air Traffic Control Career Prep CD by Patrick Mattson, and have had some issues with it:

1) For the math and analogies portion, the CD gives me literally 5 to 7 seconds to answer each question. Is that the same time you get for the ATSAT?
2) For the air traffic scenarios, it seems like I'm doing really well, and then at the end I always get some ridiculous amount of separation erros (about 40 or so). Is this a reasonable depiction of what's on the ATSAT?

Again, I know this is a repetitive subject, but I didn't see any answers to the exact questions asked above.

Thanks for the info,
H

Welcome to the boards :)

To answer the first question about the math portion, no its not like that on the real AT-SAT. The actual test will give you 25 mins to finish 20 questions. You can take as much time as you want on each question but remember, you only get 25mins for all 20 questions. Don't worry it won't skip til your ready to go to the next question.

For your second question, again the AT-SAT was much easier, and much slower. Just follow the directions and get the airplanes where it needs to go.

Here is a link to give you an idea of what to expect, its going to be a LONG wait :insane:
