I dragged my wife to a fly-in in Reklaw, TX this weekend. There were 500 airplanes in attendance on Saturday.

I'm putting that on my list for next year. Should have the clipwing T-Craft going by then.

That looks like a great fly-in. Thanks for posting this.

I wanted to go but had things to do. My parents went and said it was great. Have it on my calendar for next year. Search YouTube for “Reklaw flyin 2009” there are some great videos.

I'm just gonna have to go ahead and call Bravo Sierra on the cub's high speed pass. I mean c'mon... the Wilga was smart enough to not try that sort of thing!

Hopefully I'll be back again! A lot can happen in a year but It'd be fun to meet up there.

I wish I could have been there! The Wilga and one of the biplanes in your shots belong to friends of mine.

I did a Cessna 195 once. ONCE.

I love the Lockheed 12's, polished Beech 18's and Cessna 195's...but man.

No one doubts they are beautiful but just about the time you finish the last piece it is time to begin polishing the first piece.

I was at the NBAA a week ago and Fornof was there with the Swift Fury. Nice looking machine and the paint scheme plays well on the airplane. I am continually astonished at how some companies are able to completely destroy the lines of a beautiful machine with a bad paint scheme.
