Saudi Arabia Flight schools

Just wondered if anyone here has ever worked as a flight instructor or otherwise in Saudi Arabia. Possibility exists to be in Jeddah and it looks nice and beats the pay here but I have questions. QOL, recreation, local people...etc.

Also, wonder if instructing overseas will help with international contacts. Opinions on teaching overseas and then returning would be helpful too. The contract is for 12 months and if the industry has picked up then I will return. Otherwise if the opportunity exists to get certified overseas then I may do that and look elsewhere.

What do you guys think??

I'm assuming you're talking about Rabigh Wings. I have a friend who knows about it but I didn't really get into any details the last time I spoke with him. All I know is that most of the expat instructors over there even the ones who taught in China for a long time quit because it was awful. Sorry but I don't really know exactly what was bad about it or any of their specific complaints.

If you go it will at the very least be an adventure. Just don't get your expectations up about what kind of working and living environment you'll be in. This place probably isn't family oriented either but if you're going by yourself it shouldn't be a problem.

I believe Rabigh Wings is in Jeddah rather than actually in Rabigh. Jeddah is the most "westernized" of Saudi cities and where most foreigners are.
