Do you have E.M.? Everytime I ask her about a terminal date she tells me she won't know until the second week of Oct. or so. Maybe no news is good news in that situation. Hopefully the situation changes for you soon.

She was specifically referring to ZAU; I'd be surprised if their numbers were dropped to 0.

Oh, I got ya. They must have taken a load of people from PUBNAT 1 and 2 if they aren't taking anyone until next summer.

Someone on SM was just recently told not to expect something until 2011 for ZSE. Crazy! She was PUB 5/6.

I got the info from HR this afternoon that my facility does have one slot for this fiscal year, and that I am the only one waiting in line to fill it. Unfortunately, they have decided they don't want any new trainees until after April 2010. The wait continues...

Same scenario as me, but she told me "between April and Sept" at least I've got something to faintly hold on to.

just an fyi, HR got my drug test results in less than 2 weeks, if anybody wonders how long it takes. And... I asked about my FOL for Dec. 8th and she said that she was still working through doing oct. & nov. fol's and they had priority.

I have E.M. as my rep. Just wanted to confirm that I asked specifically about open slots next year. She told me "CAK could possibly have slots after April 2010". So it seems like it's pretty much in line with a lot of others on this thread. Hang in there guys!

S.F. just called me this morning. I'm slated for the Nov. 5th basics course. WooHoo!!!!

gave my notice today with my current job... 2 months out b/c I work for family instead of the normal 2 weeks, but the idea was still a bit scary.

anybody w/ a december class date get a FOL yet? I haven't.

I was told we would get our paperwork 30-45 days before.
