Answering my own question,
GyroCopters are experimental aircraft and Helicopter ratings are attained after adding 10 hours on a CERTIFIED rotary winged aircraft?

I'm not sure what you are asking. Gyrocopters may be certified by the FAA- three that I know of.
Umbaugh U-18/Air & Space 18A http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_&_Space_18A, the Avian 2-180 http://www.aviastar.org/helicopters_eng/avian_gyroplane.php, and the McCulloch J-2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCulloch_J-2.

Gyrocopter is a rating, and no- you don't get to add helicopter at 10 hours. Regulations require at least 30 for the PP level and 50 helicopter PIC for the Commercial.
