Retaking the AT-SAT

Wow, it has been quite some time since I have been on here. I am past my one year date of taking the AT-SAT in which I received as 'Qualified' score.
I have done the search for 'reapplying for the AT-SAT,' and 'retaking the AT-SAT,' so don't jump down my throat :).
My question is, how do I go about retaking the test? (website, phone number, email)
It seems that there isnt much stuff going on right now as far as the pubnats go, but since they last for 3 years, never know what may come up in the future.
Anywho, and direction would be most excellent.
 
I'm not positive about this, but I think you'll just need to apply to the next public announcement and then you'll be able to opt into retaking the AT SAT.

I'm not sure they'll allow you to take it just to have it on file, you'll probably need to apply to get added to their testing pool.

Did you apply to any other pubnats? I've still got my test score from pubnat 1 but every pubnat since then has told me I wasn't authorized to take the test since you can't take another for a year. Now I HAVE been authorized to take the atsat for pubnat 8 but I'm not going to since I have a high WQ score.
 
Hey Wynnpoe3 I took the AT-SAT on that same date at Peachtree City last year too! I scored an 84.4 on the test. I'm thinking about retaking it too.
 
Awesome, thanks for the heads up on that stuff. I have applied to all of the announcements with the exception of 1, 7 and 8. I lost track of time and moved and......you get the point.
Kmaceri, really? I was the guy the finished really fast because I had to head from ATL to Valdosta for a birthday party, oh well.
I do hope to retake it again soon so I can get a better score.
**side note: any clue on the next PUUBNATS? I think I saw 01/2010< any truth to this?**

As much truth as any other proposed date for the application process. The JC-SM crowd has gotten more accurate on their dates as time has gone on, but don't be surprised if something changes between now and then.
 
Very true.

BTW...what is the aviation careers contact? Do I call the OKC office or whatever region I am in. I saw the numbers for all of them, but didn't feel like calling and bothering people, I just like to bother you guys.
 
I could of sworn I was the first one out, maybe I was second if you were. I remember we had the head FAA testing official visiting that day. Do you remember that? I could of sworn my test date was the same as yours.
 
I was authorized on ASAP to retake the test 1 year and one day after I took the test for PUBNAT 1. Just apply to the next PUBNAT, and if it has been one year, they will send you info. to retake the test.

Nahh i'm pretty sure they dont send the info again. I've applied for 4-8 and have never been offered the test except for a typo they once sent me. At least that's my observation.:insane:

Hmm, I don't remember that. There were only 2 guys there administering the test. I don't think that either one of them was more important than the other, but who knows.

Thanks for the info guys. While it sucks that I'm going to have to wait until 01/2010 supposedly for the next announcement, I have plenty of time to get this stuff in.

They did for me. When testing began for PUBNAT7, they Robinson sent me an email.
 
So just a dumb quick question. I applied to PubNat8, and took my AT-SAT before PubNat6. On my ASAP, it tells me you are not authorized to take the at-sat at this time, and I can't find my previous score anywhere. Does this mean I clicked something wrong on the application for 8 or is this what everyone's says?

Try clicking the "User Information" tab, then click on "Test Information". Your score should be there. It says you are not authorized, because your score is still valid.
