Rays games are a great excuse to fly in for.

The Trop is about 20 blocks from KSPG. I'm sure someone at Bay Air would give you a lift. There is also a shuttle from the Hilton across the street during games (pretend like you are staying there). For Red Sox and Yankees games, there is a free shuttle that runs from in front of the Bank of America tower (2 blocks from the airport) to the Trop.

The absolute cheapest place to stay would be the Kelly Hotel, (727) 822-4141.

KSSI which is St. Simons is a great place. Jekyll Island is right next to St. Simons.

Rendezvous - Memphis TN.

Best BBQ you will ever eat. The FBO will give you a car and directions on how to get there. Flying into MEM is pretty sweet for the first time. Right at dark would be a great time.

The FBO at MEM is awesome....largest covered FBO in the country or something like that is their claim to fame....

go down to KEYW and eat at Crabby Dicks....that place is awesome

I would reccomend AMG (Bacon County, GA) I went there a few times after hours and walking into the FBO is like a scary movie with one light hanging from the ceiling swinging back in forth in the FBO. There is absolutely nothing around but there are two white lincolns in the hangar with the keys in the sunvisor. I had the extreme urge to take them and go racing down the runway. If your more daring than I was I would say go for it. There is nobody there after dark and you can pretty much do whatever you want and nobody would know.

best BBQ ever? well i think i will have to test that out. distance is no problem for me, just have to talk my buddy into going that far!

x2 for Kitty Hawk, NC. Gotta make the pilgrimage.

Also stop at Ocracoke Island, NC for lunch or dinner. Radio Howard's Pub on intercom and they will pick you up at the airport (usually in a golf cart). Runway is just one dune away from the beach.

Vero Beach, FL - Schedule a tour at Piper then eat at C.J. Cannon's on the field.
