Life of a tanker pilot...

Great pictures, nothing like a couple cases of 2380. Is that the supply for just your aircraft?

P.S. I have my A&P(working daily on turbine aircraft for 4 years) and Com. Multi-Inst. Gonna start working on my CFI soon. I would love this kind of flying, but would find it difficult to leave my current employer. Just in case, what kind of hours does your company require?

great shot.

Thanks, there should be some footage of us today as we were flying on a fire with our celebrity sister (DC-10). Saw some on the news.
Another from the Coffin Fire

We had a pilot break his ankle so I've been on 17 for almost three weeks, and over 40 hours flight time.

the brake lines were cut on T17 captain's motorcycle.... you would think the chief wouldn't need to resort to such methods in order to fly!

Unbelievable, looks like CA took the CWN contract for the 747 and other DC-10, meanwhile the most capable aerial fixed wing platforms are sitting in SuCK.

total Bravo Sierra!!!
Yeah I was thinking of starting a thread in the lav....

One 747 CWN contract 1.2 Million a week

Hourly flight rate 30K.... gas not included....

CA not being able to pull their head out of their arse.... priceless

Meanwhile for less cost, 5 P-3 sit at Fed bases collecting dust:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Did you know that yesterday, as Tom Duhain was doing a live shot during the 5:00 (or 6 ?) the DC10 came out from behind a mountain?!? It was apparent that he knew it was coming. We need that PR person LOL The odds are too great for that to be random...

I wonder if the state will pay for it with IOUs. Idiots.
