I could think of more pressing issues than graphics in signatures, but that's just me. If you don't like 'em, you can disable 'em in your "CP".

If you don't like seeing it, follow along.

Top left of your screen, click "User CP".

Left column under Settings and Options click "Edit Options"

Scroll down to the box that is labeled Thread Display Options and uncheck the box that is labeled "Show Signatures".

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes".

Your problem is solved.

I was honestly just trying to help out. Not everyone may have realized you could hide signatures. *edit* Or "opt out" of PMs, images (behind an [ img ] tag), etc...

My sincerest apologies for trying to help at all. Please continue with resolving life's big issues one at a time and I'll just sit on the sidelines to watch.

It was both. Honestly I can think of bigger issues on the boards than graphics in signatures, but if we're going to discuss it...you can just disable them using your user CP (my recommendation to help).

In my second post, I detailed the directions for how to do just that...a checklist, if you will. ...to help. For which, I apologize.

I saw it as a pathetic effort at masking an insult. As for relaxing, you might want to try the same there, chief.

No need to get a "thicker skin". I'm protected by a 2" thick layer of blubber and I'm sure I can take care of myself, but thanks for the advice.

I saw no problem with your post, but what ever. The one thing is that that will disable the entire signature block and not just giant useless images contained their in.

I didn't either, but like you said...whatever.

It will disable the signature unless they're put in with an [ img] tag or attached, then you can just un-check the box next to "Show Images". It's two below "show signatures", I believe.

I'm for axing them, but for aesthetic reasons. Bandwidth is pretty cheap these days and they don't clutter the stream like they might have back in '96-96 when all of us were on dialup.

So, let's just not have any. That'll work. Unless it's going towards a philantrophic organization, then I'd be cool with the charity aspect. But otherwise, most are useless and annoying.
