they could get even more business if they focused on flights from chicago and new york to florida and arizona, thats when you'll see a sister airline called 'snowbird air' or 'senior citizen air' with discounts to aarp members:D

That IFL pic looks like Gulf & Caribbean - they also fly a creaky 727-100 - not sure what that flight experience would be like - Lassie would be interesting in the jumpseat...

Still doesn't beat when I tried non-revving on Delta and there were 3 kids (3/4/5 yo) in 3 business class seats - no non-revs allowed at that age so that's a cool $15000 at least - people have plenty of money to burn on pets believe me...

I can see the FE on the 727 having a whole new job description added...

This might serve to fill another niche, too. Depends on how they want to take it, though. Right now, there is ONE airline that will transport venomous snakes. And, no, it's not FedEx. They won't take them anymore. If that airline stops, well, that's gonna put a serious kink in the plans of a lot of zoos that use them to transport animals to and from other zoos. We do a lot of swap outs with St Louis and several northern zoos. For example, we just sent a green mamba to somewhere in Illinois. If we couldn't send them on the airline, we're looking at a LOOOOONG ride in a truck in a crate with some serious climate control issues.

I'm pretty sure AMF would do it! I want that thing locked (multiple locks!) in a box if I'm flying it though!

I imagine it would depend on the contracted freight carrier. Neither FedEx nor UPS will take venomous reptiles due to liability issues. Delta is the only one doing it right now.

AMF does a lot of charter and flying independent of the "Big 3". Up until recently I believe the majority of the flying was independent. I'm not speaking on behalf of the company, but if the money's right AMF will fly it.:D

I've seen a lear 45 chartered with 2 hours notice in the middle of the night for just one fluffy white kitty cat. Noone seemed to mind that the cost from BFI to SMO was probably $10,000.
