Does anyone know, or has anyone experienced a reinstatement as a controller? I have already worked in a federal facility for about 10 months, then resigned. Does anyone know what the process is for these conditions? Thank anyone for imput:)

For the reinstatement bid I believe you have to had worked there for 12 months as a 2152. I worked in the FAA for 11 months and didn't qualify. Good Luck!

Does that mean that I will have to apply as a newhire?
Yup.

If you didn't just apply to Pubnat 8 you'll probably be waiting for awhile before the next public announcement.

However I see your sig. mentions that you have a CTO, I don't know anything about CTOs, but the FAA has postings up for people with them. From a current announcement "A Control Tower Operator's (CTO) license with a facility rating of Tower/Cab". If that is what you have you may be able to get in through that announcement.
