Whats with people in these forums trying to dog on people who make a joke?
I've seen it all over here, you people take the forums waaaaay more seriously than you ever need to.
All I was saying was... Oh well.. look at the bright side, If I have to wait an extra month then at least I'll be able to go to a few more games.

I talked with my HR rep today, and she told me that they would start filling the 2010 Fiscal Year Enroute Basics classes towards the end of August.
This was posted over on SM by Boomer. Some good info on the chart. Lists the basics classes for EnRoute, Terminal, and TRACON. EnRoute has quite a few October class dates. Terminal and TRACON, not so much. This schedule reflects what I'd heard previously though, that they were trying to push through more enroute people as quickly as possible.

(50143) AIR TRAFFIC BASICS (EN ROUTE)
(50043001) AIR TRAFFIC BASICS (TRACON)
I talked with my HR rep today, and she told me that they would start filling the 2010 Fiscal Year Enroute Basics classes towards the end of August.

Well, I just found out that I am officially waiting until FY2010 as well. Guess I shouldn't be too surprised considering that it's less than a month until the last Tracon Basics for the current fiscal year. Hopefully I get in that single Tracon Basics class in October.

Well, everyone... got the call for a class today and looks like I'll be at OK City Oct 29th!! Sounds like they are starting to fill spots for the new fiscal year. Good luck and hope to see you there!

I just got a response from my HR rep that said facility metering wouldn't be sent to them until near the end of August, meaning they wouldn't know how many slots were being filled in some of the facilities (terminal, I'm guessing, since that's what I am), so I will have to wait until then to contact her to see about potentially transferring to a slightly closer (by 20 miles) facility to where we'll be living. Here's to at least another month of hanging out!

I was PUB2 (terminal) and got one of the last few slots for 7/14. There's plenty of other PUB2er's here and amiss who don't have dates yet. Don't fret!Please tell me there are still PubNat2's out there that are still waiting for October classes...
