With the discussion of Cronkite and his coverage of world events in another thread, and considering tomorrow is the 40th anniversary of one of mankind's greatest acheivements, I give you these:

Thanks for the share. I am not sure the US has done anything even approaching the coolness of this in the last 40 years. Cronkite was the right anchorman, at the right time. Amazing stuff.

Sometimes it is not what you say, it is what you don't.

Only way it could have been better was to have Michael Jackson in the background singing "I'll be there"...you know, because Michael was as important as uncle Walter...
