Good backup degrees

I didnt know Pro Pilot was an actual degree. I wouldnt major in anything aviation related or Sociology. :D

Would an MBA serve as a good backup or compliment to a pro pilot degree?

MBA would certainly help if the industry tanks (like it has already). Lots of things to do with an MBA. International opportunities as well.

My father preached heavily to me not to get my degree in aviation. Glad I took his advice. I got my degree in exercise science. People will always need physcial therapies and exercise guidance. Having that degree also allows you to work in labs, clinical testing, corporate wellness, just to name a few. Most of the jobs pay well, especially if you work for yourself.

I'd say every penny put into a "Pro-Pilot Degree" is a penny wasted.. You don't need any specific degree to do this job..

A BS in Basket weaving will work..

I would look at something like Biology, business admin, computer engineering or something along those lines as a backup..

I would have to say get a degree in something that you're remotely interested in.

Philosophy, with a concentration in professional and business ethics, with a minor in political science.

That's where the money's at, kid!

Math!!!

Because everytime someone posts this question, I say "Math!!!" and the others say that math sucks.
I wish I'd majored in math. At least I spent most of my time in A&P classes instead of BS like "CRM 101" and "Aviation Human Factors".

in all seriousness, Nursing. The medical field is hurting for people from what I hear. Not sure if it is still that way

Math sucks.

I figured that I was supposed to write that. I actually don't mind math at all. I wish I would have gotten any degree besides a Marketing degree. It's good for some people, but I'm not really into sales.

I would suggest getting your degree in something else that you enjoy doing. A lot of money doesn't make up for hating your job.
