Part 91

just a quick question , i was at laguardia this morning where i met these two captains ( flying a citation).
i asked them what would the best choice be for IFR and Commercial going 61 or 141 , they said the best is part 91 , look for local instructors im sure you will find a couple , i had to go so we ended the conversation short
im not sure but from my undrestanding, i have to look for like private instructors , rent a plane and take a lesson with him/her (preferably):D
they also mentioned something about part 121 :laff: ??!
im lost :)

Uh..I am lost too. I think they were trying to say part 61 and a local FBO. Just a guess.
