Anyone watch this race?

I found archived races back to 2006 on hulu.com

I would think that the race in San Diego this weekend would have been extra interesting since there are some many retired navy and marine pilots out there and a strong local pilot community. I bet some of the racers could give the top-gun pilots a run for their money....

For the record: the race in monument valley in 2007 was really cool....and scary looking

I watched Detroit Last year, it was amazing how fast they fly with no more than a wing or two length from the surface of the water. I thought the course was going to be larger two but its a compact course.

That was probably the best course I've seen yet. The spectators got to be a lot closer than the over water races too.
