Find a Pilot Accountees

Anyone hook me up with a find-a-pilot account.

That reads like more of a command than a request...maybe not the best way to get someone to do you a favor.

If I was really interested in the job, I'd probably forgo a dinner at the Applebee's and pay the $9 for an account rather than demanding help from someone who already did so on the internet.

I am not demanding anything...I am asking put a . instead of a ? on accident. Chill out.

Thx for the PM MR.

How bad do you want the job if you're not willing to put up 9 bucks to see what it is?

I am actually really chill now, just enjoying a beer on a break from doing drywall work in my new (older) home...thanks for looking out for me though. ;)

Yeah...because these companies are not known to recycle old positions. I am a flight instructor...8 dollars a month is like 100 pax of ramen noodles.

I had find a pilot account for ever since it started charging people and I was only contacted by one person out of the hundreds of CFI positions. I rather save my money and buy a steak dinner.

Anyone hook me up with 9 songs on Itunes so I don't have to pay for them?

I want:

Brandy (You're a fine girl) by Looking Glass

Act Naturally by Buck Owens

Honky Tonk Heros by Waylon Jennings

Bloody Mary Morning by Willie Nelson

Sweetest Taboo by Sade

Thunderstruck by AC/DC

Summertime by Janis Joplin

East Bound and Down by Jerry Reed

Sex Machine by James Brown

Thanks in advance.

Let's keep the flaming to a minimum please.

Doesn't matter if it's $1, $9 or $100. I shouldn't have to pay to look at jobs! Same goes for charging $160 fee for a pilot career fair.

You are certainly welcome to not pay anything to look at jobs. This might mean that you have to work a little harder to find the job posting you're looking for, but I bet you the company discussed here isn't limiting themselves to candidates found through that website.

You're perfectly free to not go to career fairs. I haven't been to a single one and it's worked out OK for me.

Obviously anyone posting against this doesn't go into the Jobs Available Section because this happens everyday copy and pasted off of climb to 350. It is okay though keep the flame-fest going. I stupidly bought a will fly for food account so if anyone needs anything off that I would be glad to share it with you.

It just makes me laugh when people I am sure so seriously opposed to paying for a job gulfstream...etc. Is willing to eat their words and pay to get the info on a job which should be public knowledge. JC

Get real. The job is almost certainly public knowledge; however, you might have trouble finding out about it because you don't live where it's available and you clearly don't have an inside track. Membership job sites are providing you with a service--letting you know about jobs that otherwise you'd be totally unaware of. It's got nothing to do with PFJ.

Hey, you pretty much invited it in your first post and ensured it would continue by bringing up GTA.

at the risk of 100 replies... could i possibly get a hook up on findapilot as well? Ive paid for 350 through the rest of the year, and Im about done with paying for unreliable ads.:bandit:

find-a-pilot isn't gonna be any better. Face it gang, the music has stopped for the time being. If you've got a chair, get comfy. If you don't, it's time to start applying for non-flying gigs til Mr. Music starts up again.

It makes me laugh to spend any money on any job board. Have some 70 in my favorites, all free. Once FAP became subscription based it was over. Simple as that. However, if I needed a job, was still monitoring the site and found something of interest I would write this:

"Could someone with a Findapilot account please check into this and maybe send me a copy per PM? Thanks!" This was done before and nobody complained.

By asking not to flame you invite the stupid trolls to dump their load on you, so don't do it. There are enough people here to look straight over them and see the concept of paying it forward.

Fact: FAP would like to be exclusive to members who pay. It's not only a breach of their terms of service to make it public - it's also likely a repost with updated times and worthless. If you don't get it here, and it's a real, actual job, just copy and paste the first part of the subject line into google and you will find at least 10 similar postings. Employers are not dumb, if they really need a pilot, the world will know, paid or not.

To me it looks more like some people need to reevaluate their personal foes on here - and stop trying to bash and trash them. Whats all that fuzz about? Is it because the OP was jhugz? Holy Allah!
